This tire has a wide range of use as an original equipment (OE) applications, from the Mazda Miata, to BMW 3-series sedans and the X3 SUV, all the way to the Porsche Cayenne, which I view as a quality indicator. In this particular performance category, the Turanza ER30 ranks towards the top of it's class for traction. Just like with all other summer tires, it is not meant to be used in near freezing temperatures or on snow/ice.
Given the wide range of vehicles that this tire is fitted to, it should come as no surprise that it is definitely an all-around tire. This might be hard to believe, but these tires can last for nearly 80,000 miles under normal driving circumstances. I think most drivers tend to see around 60,000 though, but I can't count how many testimonials I've heard about drivers hitting that 80k mark. Grand touring tires are made to blend comfort and performance rather than just going in one direction. This is a quality tire that won't break the bank and provides especially long life. If you're looking to maintain the ride quality and performance from your BWM or other vehicle, I think you'll be hard pressed to find much of a better deal than this.
