Uniroyal

Uniroyal, or as it was originally known, the United States Rubber Company was an American tire manufacturer founded in 1892 in Naugatuck, Connecticut and was actually one of the original 12 stocks in the Down Jones Industrial Average. Uniroyal was acquired by Michelin in 1990 and has been a subsidiary since then. For the most part, the Uniroyal tire brands have been winding down and consolidated into the Michelin brand.
