The Yokohama S32A is one of the more mediocre high performance all season tires on the market. It was actually developed to be an original equipment (OE) tire for sports cars, coupes and sedans, and Yokohama has seen fit to make this a below average tire. I would rank it in my bottom 5 for the performance category easily. I won't really belabor the point here, but my suggestion would simply be to move on from this tire to another in the performance category. Performance wise, this tire just doesn't cut it on wet or dry pavement. I think the only thing that has impressed me about this tire is that for a very low treadwear rating, it has very good longevity. I've found this tire in most cases with proper tire rotations will go easily 50,000 miles before you'll need to replace it. I think that's pretty good in general, but for an OE tire, it's very good. So if you don't need a lot of actual performance out of a 'performance' tire, this might actually be a good choice for you. However, if you are shopping for a solid four season tire that you can still have a lot of fun with, you'll probably have to look elsewhere.
